An Inspirational Moment at Graduation
I found this moment at Landmark College Graduation
to be quite inspirational.
Ana Arathoon addressed the attending crowd at
graduation and stated how Landmark College inspired her
to return to her native Guatemala to teach the
disadvantaged children. Tears came to everyone's eyes.

Seminar Time with Fujifilm USA
New England Studio of Keene recently participated in a
Fujifilm USA ‘Capture to Print’ workshop series in Sturbridge Ma. Tom Raffelt and
Tammi Quinn expanded their knowledge base of underclass school photography to
provide area schools with the most up to date photo and computer techniques.
Topics such as bar coded ID cards with the newest Fuji S5 cameras, as well as the
latest capture software were demonstrated at length. New England Studio has been
offering underclass school photography for over 20 years.

is Tom with Frank Shelly from Natural Color Lab in Stoughton Mass.

Keene High School Photo Class
Keene High Schools Photo Class made
this photo as their last of 4 classes came in to New England Studio.
By far, this was the toughest shot to accomplish.
Amy did a superb job as our model on
this photo-shoot.
The goal was to highlight Amy's hands with the water
and keep the rest of her dark and blurred
out of focus.
Mission Accomplished and a great job
to everyone who attended.
Also a big thank you to Peg B. their teacher.

Senior Portrait
Now this nice photo started as a color shot,
we then converted to black and white, then
threw a little color in there, and proceeded to
add some filters and BINGO !
Nothin' to it. Plus it helps to have the right subject.
We are finding that we have an unlimited variety of backgrounds
for our outdoor portraits here in downtown Keene. This, we are discovering, is giving
us much better variety than a traditional outdoor "studio".
The typical outdoor studio tends to be repetitive which is
strictly a function of it's limited backgrounds.

braces removed.
